Welcome to Muhego. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our smart home installation services and website. By engaging our services or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
By contracting with Muhego for turnkey smart home installation services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
Muhego specializes in comprehensive turnkey smart home installation services, including but not limited to:
All services are provided based on written quotes and service agreements. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may be subject to adjustment based on site conditions, additional requirements discovered during installation, or changes requested by the client.
A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before commencement of work. The remaining balance is due upon completion and client acceptance of the installation.
Clients agree to:
Muhego will make reasonable efforts to complete installations within agreed timelines. However, completion dates are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including supply chain delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen technical challenges. We will communicate any delays promptly.
Installation is considered complete when all contracted systems are operational and the client has signed an acceptance certificate.
Muhego provides a 12-month warranty on installation workmanship from the date of completion. Equipment and devices are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. We will assist clients in processing warranty claims for defective equipment.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, accidents, natural disasters, or failure to maintain systems according to provided guidelines.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muhego's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Muhego is not responsible for compatibility issues with third-party devices not supplied or recommended by us, or for service interruptions caused by internet service providers or device manufacturers.
We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Information collected during service provision is used solely for installation, support, and communication purposes. We do not sell or share client information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill our services.
All designs, configurations, documentation, and proprietary methods developed by Muhego remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a license to use installed systems but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our proprietary materials.
Clients may cancel services with written notice. Cancellations made before work commences will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Once work has begun, refunds will be calculated based on work completed, materials purchased, and costs incurred. Custom-ordered equipment may not be refundable.
Muhego reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. We encourage clients to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with any service agreements and quotes, constitute the entire agreement between the client and Muhego regarding our services and supersede all prior communications, agreements, or understandings, whether written or oral.
